Friends has helped the University establish relationships with international institutions like Columbia University’s School for International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and the European Union’s Office of Ocean Management. Friends assisted the University in negotiating open access to the archives of Gabriela Mistral when they were returned to Chile from the United States.
