Giving Day UC

In 2023 Friends UC implemented a “Giving Day” campaign directed at UC Alumni in the United States in parallel with the Giving Day campaign established by the University in that year.

Giving Day 2023 was a philanthropic initiative that sought to bring together the entire community and friends in order to support the University through high-impact projects that reflect the great diversity and public commitment of the Institution.

All faculties of the university participated in Giving Day UC 2023, plus College, Campus Villarrica, the Endowment UC and the Network of UC Regional Centers and Stations. All of them will again seek support for their projects or scholarship initiatives

This year, 2024, the third version of this event will be held on November 13, 14 and 15 with the slogan “Future UC”.  Friends UC intends to continue its parallel campaign.

If you would like to make a donation to one of the specific projects being promoted by the various faculties of the University, please go first to the website https://givingday.uc.cl/proyectos-para-donar, review the various projects, then proceed to our website. Under the “donate” prompt you will be able to indicate the project that you wish to benefit by your donation. Select Giving Day 2024 and make your donation through Pay Pal. Once the donation has been made you can select the project you prefer. If you prefer to donate by check, follow the instructions and indicate your preferred project in the “Memo” line of your check.

Your donations to Friends, a 501(c)3 U.S. foundation, are deductible to the fullest extent of the U.S. Federal Income Tax Law.
