The School of Medicine has worked constantly on the development of all types of medical specialties. It has established a Health Network and generated the resources to fund this Network to respond to the most pressing needs of the Chilean community.The School is actively involved in the national public health debate through its Bioethics Center and through the Ancora Project (primary and family health assistance model). The School has also had an active involvement in the creation and implementation of the National Medical Exam.
