Built as a convent in 1920 on the site of La Generala Hacienda, the complex was purchased by the University in 1971, initially to house the Schools of Humanities and Social Sciences. This 90 year-old building complex now is the campus of the Schools of Drama, Arts and the Institutes of Aesthetics and Music.
