Sebastiano Scarampi
Sebastiano Scarampi is a retired business executive and international management consultant living in San Francisco. He holds Commercial Engineer and Magister (maximum honors) degrees from Universidad Catolica de Chile and an MBA from Stanford University.
He is former President of American Gilsonite Company, a specialty mining enterprise, and has held senior management posts in corporate strategy and international marketing at Raychem Corporation, a materials science and technology company. He has consulted in business development in Latin America and Europe and holds patents in the fields of eye tracking and telecommunications equipment. He is a former director of the Bay Area Development Company and member of the pro-bono Stanford Alumni Consulting Team. His current interests include environmental stewardship, organic and sustainable food systems and the social effects of urban development models on city cultures and quality of life.
