Kirkpatrick MacDonald is a graduate of Yale University in Industrial Administration (Engineering), of Oxford University, in Politics, Philosophy & Economics and of the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Etudes Internationales, Genève where he did his Ph.D. studies and research in Political Economy. After working at Lehman Brothers Consulting Partners (Affiliate of Loeb Rhoades & Co.) and Morgan Guaranty International Finance Corporation, he formed MacDonald & Cie, a real estate investment firm, where he is a Managing Partner. In addition, as a wine aficionado he is a member of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, Officier Commandeur Commanderie de Bordeaux.
