A group of young Chilean professionals living in the US, all involved in public policy studies, organizes this event every year in order to discuss public policy issues pertinent to the development of Chile, such as health, education, pensions, migration policy, urban planning, disaster prevention, gender gap, and constitutional reform.
The meeting took place from October 20 to 22 in New York at Columbia University and New York University. Friends UC co-sponsored the conference and provided speakers for the conference: Rector Ignacio Sánchez, UC Provost Patricio Donoso in his role as Director of DUOC UC, and UC professor of Constitutional Law, Patricio Zapata.
